The state has collected more than $1 billion worth of lost or abandoned wealth that belongs to millions of Illinois residents. It includes everything from forgotten bank accounts to entire estates that never reached their rightful owners. The Cash Dash program aims to give it all back.

  • STEP 1: Look for your name on the Cash Dash list.
  • STEP 2: If your name is listed, check the online reporting form or Claim Form (PDF) .
  • STEP 3: Once your claim is verified, the treasurer will mail your unclaimed property or cash to you.
